THANK YOU to all who supported manadacreek.org at the
West Hanover Township Board of Supervisors Meeting on February 4th.
We may have lost the vote that meeting, but our cause goes on.
We are committed to SAVING MANADA CREEK!!!
Our Mission
This website is dedicated to preventing residential and commercial projects that will have an adverse effect on the quality of storm water emptied into the Manada Creek.
Who We Are
We are all citizens of West Hanover Township and the surrounding area.
We are mothers, fathers, grandparents and children who care about the natural resources we have been given.
Put simply, we care about Manada Creek.
We are concerned that this valuable waterway is nearing a tipping point where it will not longer remain a safe, clean resource for our education and recreation.
We want to ensure that Manada Creek maintains or improves its current level of quality so that it may be enjoyed for generations to come.
What We Do
We take action. We all firmly believe that it is our duty as U.S. citizens to play an active role in government.
By acting within the law and making our elected officials aware of our opinions, we hope to make local government work for us, to protect what we care about.
As Thomas Jefferson wrote, "...rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others."
